Potluck signup sheet
A potluck goes wrong when twelve people bring crisps. A signup sheet that asks what everyone is bringing, and a quick "what are we short of?", fixes that without a shared spreadsheet anyone can overwrite.
Say this to your assistant
“Make a potluck signup for the street party: name, what kind of dish they are bringing, what it is, and whether it is vegetarian.”
Change the wording to suit your event or business. formset reads what the question is asking and picks the right type, so an email address is checked as an email and a rating is collected as a rating.
What formset builds
The form is hosted at its own link straight away. Respondents need no account, and you can share it as a link, a QR code, or embedded in your own site.
Then just ask
When the answers come in, ask in the same conversation:
- “How many mains, sides and desserts do we have?”
- “Is anyone bringing something vegetarian?”
- “Put the form on a QR code for the flyer.”
