Club signup form
A club signup has two jobs: collect names and contact details, and sort people into the right group. Describe the club and its groups, share the link in the group chat or as a QR code at the first meeting, and ask how many people each group has.
Say this to your assistant
“Make a signup for our hiking club this season: name, email, which group they want to join (beginner, intermediate or long-distance), what they could help with (planning routes, driving, first aid), and how often they can come.”
Change the wording to suit your event or business. formset reads what the question is asking and picks the right type, so an email address is checked as an email and a rating is collected as a rating.
What formset builds
This is the page your respondents open. Try the questions; nothing is sent.
It is hosted at its own link straight away. Respondents need no account, and you can share it as a link, a QR code, or embedded in your own site.
Getting more answers
- Show the QR code at the first meeting and post the link in the group chat the same day.
- Put a closing date in the message, and ask formset to close the form on that day.
Then just ask
When the answers come in, ask in the same conversation:
- “How many people want each group?”
- “Who can drive?”
- “Close signups, the season has started.”
