Quick poll
A poll is one question with a handful of answers, and all you want back is the count. Describe it, send the link, and ask for the result, without tallying replies in a group chat.
Say this to your assistant
“Make a poll for the team: which date works best for the summer party — 12, 19 or 26 July — and their name.”
Change the wording to suit your event or business. formset reads what the question is asking and picks the right type, so an email address is checked as an email and a rating is collected as a rating.
What formset builds
It is hosted at its own link straight away. Respondents need no account, and you can share it as a link, a QR code, or embedded in your own site.
Getting more answers
- Post the link with a deadline in the message, and ask formset to close the poll at the same time.
- Keep the name question if one vote each matters. Every submission is counted, and a name is how you spot someone voting twice.
- To show everyone the result, ask for the read-only results page and share that link. It needs no sign-in and works for 30 days.
Then just ask
When the answers come in, ask in the same conversation:
- “Which date is winning?”
- “Who voted for the 26th?”
- “Close the poll, we have a date.”
