Job application form

A small team hiring for one role does not need an applicant tracking system. It needs a form that collects the same few things from everyone, and a way to read the applications without copying them into a spreadsheet first.

Say this to your assistant

“Make a job application form for a part-time designer: name, email, portfolio link, years of experience, when they could start, and why they want the job.”

Change the wording to suit your event or business. formset reads what the question is asking and picks the right type, so an email address is checked as an email and a rating is collected as a rating.

What formset builds

QuestionType
Full nameShort text
EmailEmail

Years of experienceNumber
Earliest start dateDate
Why do you want this role?Long text

The form is hosted at its own link straight away. Respondents need no account, and you can share it as a link, a QR code, or embedded in your own site.

Then just ask

When the answers come in, ask in the same conversation:

  • “What is the average experience across applicants?”
  • “Show me the portfolios of everyone with more than five years of experience.”
  • “Close the application, we have enough.”

Connect formset

In Claude, add formset from the connector directory. For ChatGPT, Claude Code or any assistant that supports remote MCP servers, add this address and sign in with Google once when it first connects:
