Event registration form
Registration is an RSVP with logistics attached: which ticket, which day, and anything you need to know before people arrive. Describe the event and formset builds the page, hosts it, and stops taking registrations once you reach capacity.
Say this to your assistant
“Make a registration form for our one-day design conference on 6 March: name, email, organisation, whether they are coming in person or joining online, and any access requirements for in-person guests. Stop at 150 registrations.”
Change the wording to suit your event or business. formset reads what the question is asking and picks the right type, so an email address is checked as an email and a rating is collected as a rating.
What formset builds
It is hosted at its own link straight away. Respondents need no account, and you can share it as a link, a QR code, or embedded in your own site.
Getting more answers
- Ask for a limit equal to your capacity. When it is reached the page tells people registration is full, instead of taking one you cannot seat.
- Embed it on the event page, and put the QR code on posters and the last slide of every talk that promotes the event.
- Close registration the day before, so the check-in list you export is final.
Then just ask
When the answers come in, ask in the same conversation:
- “How many are coming in person, and how many online?”
- “List everyone with an access requirement.”
- “Send me the attendee list for the check-in desk.”
